As part of the program, selected student-led teams will also be mentored by top research and Higher Educational Institutions in Germany. CcHub will work with a number of universities in various African countries to facilitate the program. In Nigeria, the universities chosen are the University of Lagos and the University of Ibadan.
Benefits
Participants will benefit from the program in the following ways:- Will be supported through a 6-week design sprint stage, in which they will be taken through ideation, design thinking, and human-centred approaches to fashioning solutions
- Receive research mentorship from institutions of higher learning and research institutes in Germany
- Work within innovation hubs in their campuses and roll out their solutions to real customers, supported by CcHub
- Pitch their products at a grand demo day in Nairobi, Kenya
- Move their startup from the idea stage to the working product

Eligibility
This program is open to persons who meet these conditions:- Must be a student of the University of Lagos, University of Ibadan, University of Namibia, Namibia University of Science and Technology, Riara University, and the University of Nairobi
- Should indicate the type of degree they are pursuing (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)
- Must have a valid passport by the date of the travel required in the program
- Their idea should be innovative, unique, and research-based
- It should be realistic, potentially viable, and aimed at solving a problem for a sizeable market

- Must be a GreenTech or smart city solution in one of these areas: Agriculture, Circular Economy, Energy, Healthcare, and Water
