This weekend, Abuja will play host to an active and unique melding of vibrant commerce and powerful displays of creativity. It’s the Art Meets Trade event, powered by the Freedom Hall and Thought Pyramid Art Centre, Abuja.

Over two days, the event will treat people to powerful spoken word performances and interesting music, and give them the opportunity to shop for the holidays- all in one location. It’s a great way to get into the festive mood, as Christmas dawns upon us.

What to Expect

-The event will begin on Saturday, December 11 with a fashion and arts trade fair which kicks off at 4PM and continues on Sunday at the same time.

-A Rhythm and Poetry Party will be held on Saturday, from 7PM-10P. Performing will be Mage Hassan, Bash Amuneni, Torpedo Mascaw, The Story Teller, Mak Father G, Rudolph, Yasky, Meddle, and other artistes.

-An Open Mic Night for poetry and alternative music, on Sunday, December 11, from 7PM-10PM.

Admission is free.

Art Meets Festival will take place at the Thought Pyramid Art Center, 18 Libreville Street, off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja.
