The Academy For Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), a United States-led initiative that supports female entrepreneurs around the world, has opened its portal for female entrepreneurs to apply for its intensive training and coaching. This year’s initiative is sponsored by US Consulate in Lagos in collaboration with Ventures Garden Foundation and Ascend Studios Foundation.

Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Program will select 250 female entrepreneurs who will receive intensive business training, gain new networks, and learn the necessary skills to grow sustainable businesses. The Program will grant the selected women university-level business and management training that will equip them to become more productive and efficient as entrepreneurs.
Academy for Women Entrepreneurs aims to help build a better, equal world full of opportunities within our children’s lifetime. The Academy empowers female entrepreneurs to develop their business acumen and achieve strong and sustainable business growth.Â

The goal of the Academy is to reduce inequality between the genders and close the gender pay gap. To achieve this, the Academy has built a platform of trusted training systems, tools and fully trained and certified business coaches tailored for the needs of female solopreneurs, independent practitioners and micro business owners.Â
