In a statement published on Monday, the former Central Bank of Nigerian governor, Soludo announced as stated during his campaign, that he is committed to giving anyone who has the competence and capability the opportunity to contribute to good governance in Anambra state. The elected governor further stated that in his bid to foster a credible and competitive process, he has approved the launch of the Anambra Talent Data Bank where the indigenes of the state can indicate their interests by applying to get employed, selected for volunteerism, given the opportunity to be appointed by the administration or to be employed in the paid public service position. According to a statement released on the official page of the governor-elect: “This Talent DataBank offers a transparent and level playing field for talent search and team selection processes that are consistent with the vision of the Governor-Elect.” It further read that: “This platform is designed for Ndi Anambra to ‘Express Interest’ in volunteering or seeking a political appointment or career in paid public service positions.
