This year, the Oil and Gas Technical Apprenticeship Program has a new name: APTUS. According to the team at APTUS, this rebrand reflects a focus on adapting, adjusting, and being prepared. Apprentices, who will be drawn from a variety of backgrounds, do not need to have prior experience.

Eligibility
This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:- Have a National Identity Number (NIN)
- Must be between 16 and 35 years old by May of the year in which they applied
- Have at least a Credit grade (C) in their Ordinary Level exams, in the following subjects: Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and one other
- Persons with OND, HND, B.Sc., M.Sc., and PhD in Engineering and the Sciences will also be considered
