  In the past year, Nigerians have witnessed economic hardship more than they have ever seen in the country’s over 63 years of existence. The inflation rate has risen to over 33% after the removal of the subsidy on fuel, which led to a hike in the cost of fuel. MSMEs are left at the mercy of the harsh economic realities of Nigeria but can salvage the situation by applying for the Lagos CARES Grant initiative.

The Lagos CARES Grant is only open to MSMEs operating within Lagos State to help them beat the economic challenges that have harmed their brands for the past year. Lagos State is the commercial capital of Nigeria, and there is a need to sustain the MSMEs in the state to stabilize the economy.

To be eligible for the program

  • The MSME must be based in Lagos State.
  • You must be able to prove that the economic challenges have affected your business negatively.
  • Be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
  • Your business operations must be legal.
  • You must be a law-abiding citizen.
