The KPMG University Scholarship Programme is part of KPMG’s drive to contribute to the improvement of local communities and broadening access to education. The program will sponsor students throughout their four or five-year studies at a federal University. The scholarship is available for all courses. Applications from students in 100 Level or 200 Level will also be considered. Persons selected from the pool of applicants will be invited for a test. If they are deemed to have passed the test, they will be awarded the scholarship.

Eligibility
Intending applicants are expected to meet these conditions to be selected for the pre-qualification test:- Completed their secondary education at a public secondary school
- Have at least five distinctions (As and Bs) from WASSCE or NECO (including Mathematics and English)
- Scored a minimum of 230 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
- Have a provisional letter of admission from a Nigerian federal university

Scholarship program
Hello Blessing,
It’s not clear why KPMG has chosen to specifically target students from public secondary schools. A good guess would be that this criteria best captures students who may be considered underprivileged,and thus most in need of the scholarship.
Hopefully there’ll be more opportunities that are open to a broader set of students.
