Organized by global corporate consultancy firm KPMG, this competition is designed to identify and support high-growth ventures owned and led by women in Africa. Eligible businesses may be in one of a wide range of sectors, including technology, health, and agriculture.

Through the KPMG Female Founders in Africa Competition, select businesswomen will be provided with the resources, visibility, access to investors, and networking opportunities they need to scale their enterprises and deepen their impact. The program is open to women who are passionate about their ventures, show great promise of taking sizeable market share, and have a clear vision for growth.

Applicants must meet these conditions:
  • Businesses must be registered
  • Must be female-owned
  • Been in operation for at least a year
  • Should be tech-enabled, tech-driven, or tech-led
  • Should be available for the semi-finals and finals in 2025
