This program is open to startups that leverage contemporary technologies to solve problems related to healthcare delivery. Through the HealthTech Hub Africa Accelerator Program, healthcare startups will receive assistance to validate their solutions, be connected with partners and contributors in the healthcare sector and public health systems, and get support for growth. They will also be able to access opportunities provided by the HealthTech Hub Africa partner network, including research and funding opportunities.

Eligibility

This program is open to startups that meet the following criteria:
  • Must be registered in an African country
  • Have at least 2 founding members, with at least one being an African national or permanent resident in an African country
  • Must be operating in one or more of HealthTech Africa’s thematic categories
  • Should be post-revenue or seed-stage
  • Must have been in operation for at least one year
  • Either already working or has plans to work with the public health sector, in addition to private sector involvement
