This program is being organized for aspiring entrepreneurs with potentially high-impact business ideas; founders who haven’t raised capital yet; and persons who have just begun building their venture. If you belong to any of these categories and you’re looking for technical support, partnerships, and funding to make your enterprise come alive, this is an opportunity you may want to take advantage of.

The Antler program is an assemblage of driven entrepreneurs who will explore ideas together in person. This will take place in Lagos and will last for 8 weeks. It’s an opportunity for prospective founders to meet, learn, and collaborate with other builders.

Information about Team Formation

As mentioned earlier, the Antler program receives applications from persons who have conceived of a startup idea, as well as teams that already have an MVP or early customer validation. Teams in the latter category can join the program’s seed or early-seed round and negotiate for a $100,000 to $400,000 investment.

Persons who have some experience in business or technology and would like to build solutions of consequence are also invited to apply. They will meet up with peers, brainstorm on projects, and build brand-new startups from scratch.

  • Team sprints to drive ideation and innovation
  • Weekly coaching sessions led by the Antler team

  • VC meetups that will allow you to build relationships and challenge your ideas
  • $100,000 for 10% equity to be invested in startups that pass the Antler Investment Committee
  • Feedback and support from within the community of builders

Eligibility

The Antler in Nigeria Startup Residency Program is open to persons who have a startup idea, have just begun building, or lead an early-stage team with an MVP.
