  In a bid to solve Nigeria’s engineering and manufacturing challenges, the Nigerian Genius is bringing together the country’s brightest minds in the Nigerian Genius National Engineering Competition 2024.

The program will assemble exceptional engineering students across various Nigerian tertiary institutions to gain and apply advanced engineering skills to create effective solutions to the country’s most pressing problems.

The team that emerges as the winner in the competition will be given a cash reward of 1 million naira to further develop their solution. It is a one-week-long program that will be held at the Advanced Engineering Centre, Aba, with their accommodation and feeding well catered for.

Some of the criteria for registration include:

  • Applicants must be students of a tertiary institution in Nigeria.
  • Additional skills such as embedded systems, PCB, fabrication, CAD, CAM, and welding are highly advisable for team members, along with the presence of females in the setup.
