  Apply for the 2025 edition of the Community Engagement Exchange (CEE) Program If you are dedicated to addressing critical issues in the 21st century. The Community Engagement Exchange is an initiative aimed at equipping visionaries with the skills, expertise, and resources to develop multi-sectoral approaches and build healthy and engaging communities.

Features of the program include:

  1. Selected candidates participate in a three-month practicum in the United States, where they are matched with civil society organizations.
  2. Candidates are exposed to the leadership and civic engagement academy, where they engage in face-to-face training, mentorship, service learning, and professional coaching.
  3. Participants draft and implement a community engagement project with the support of host organizations and mentors in the US.
  4. Select US hosts and CEE specialists travel to a country that is an alumnus of the CEE to support the implementation of projects.

To be eligible for the program:

  1. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 27.
  2. Must be a citizen of an eligible country (Nigeria is eligible).
  3. Applicants must be currently living and working in their home country or have refugee status.
  4. The applicant must have a minimum of two years of professional experience in community or civil society issues.
  5. Applicants must show commitment to returning to their country after the program.
  6. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
