System Specs, the parent company of Innovative Solutions – Remita, Paylink and HumanManager – has announced a call for entries into the SystemSpecs 2020 Children’s Day Essay Competition.

The essay competition themed “Nigeria of my dream: Making it happen with Technology,” will receive entries in 2 categories:

  • Junior Division: 9 – 12 years (Participant should not be older than 12 years by May 31, 2020)
  • Senior Division: 13-16 years (Participant should not be older than 16 years by May 31, 2020).

Entry Requirements

  • Open only to children who school and live in Nigeria.
  • Only one entry per participant.
  • Maximum of 1,000 words for junior division, font size – 12, double line spacing.
  • Maximum of 1,500 words for senior division, font size – 12, double line spacing.
  • All sources should be referenced where applicable.
  • Entries must be the original ideas of participant not parents, guardians or any other influence.
  • Children of SystemSpecs’ employees are not eligible.
  • Submission of entries closes on the 26th of May 2020.

Rules For Submission

1. Entries should include the following details on the cover page:

  • Full name of participant
  • Date of birth
  • Contact address
  • Submission category
  • School name
  • Parent’s/Guardian’s Phone number

2. Entries should also include passport photograph of participant attached to email.

3. Entries should be submitted in MS Word format.

4. Submit via email on/before 26th of May 2020.

5. Please note: cover page and references will not count towards total essay word count.
