Ahmadu Bello University’s e-Learning MBA Program: Admissions Are In Progress

The Ahmadu Bello University has commenced admissions into the second semester of its e-learning MBA program. The program, which is the first of its kind to be fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC), has been developed by the ABU’s Distance Learning Centre in partnership with EduTech, a Nigerian technology company which helps universities to take their on-campus programs online.

The e-learning MBA affords business professionals the opportunity to obtain the necessary qualifications they need to advance their career without having to physically attend lectures. Students can access the program and get the value of an on-campus program from wherever they are.

EduTech’s facilitation of the program is part of its goal of enabling African traditional universities to reach a wider potential student base with their courses and making quality education available to millions across the continent. The e-learning MBA makes this aim all the more achievable.

Professor A.Z. Hassan, Director of the Distance Learning Centre at the Ahmadu Bello University, says that the partnership between the Distance Learning Centre and EduTech has made it possible for the MBA program to meet the requirements of regulators. According to him, the Distance Learning Centre is now “looking forward to becoming a leading global DLC in a few years.”

The MBA program doesn’t require huge upfront payments to be made before it can be accessed. Students can take advantage of its per-program payment structure and pay fees as funds become available to them.
