TotalEnergies has announced that it is accepting applications from young Nigerian graduates who want to participate in its Young Graduate Program. It says this opportunity is designed for persons who want to begin a career in the energy and petroleum industry. Enrollees will gain real-world experience working in a corporate environment, and benefit from international exposure—an advantage that only a small segment of recent graduates enjoy.

According to TotalEnergies, its Young Graduate Program will recruit graduates who have an excellent academic records and are innovative, result oriented, and adaptable. They will be working in its Technical/Commercial/Finance/Sales department in Lagos. This program will last for 18 months.

Persons who are accepted into this program will benefit from it in the following ways:
- Gain valuable experience working locally within Nigeria for 6 months
- Get international exposure in a further 12-month stint at another TotalEnergies affiliate elsewhere in Africa, or at the company’s headquarters in Paris, France

Eligibility
This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
- Must be less than 26 years old
- Have a degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical), Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a business-related discipline
- Completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program
- Have less than 1 year of professional experience
