Most often, they are traced to stresses from previous workloads, a terrible partner, a harsh boss or a troublesome child. However, there are hacks in winning your day.
To win your day, always have a good night rest. It will be horrible not to have a good dose of sleep in 24 hours of the day. No matter the workload, deadlines and targets, good sleep is very healthy for the body, and it builds the mind.
Lack of sleep leads to
mental and body fatigue, and when the brain and the body are stressed out, it leads to poor response to life, and poor response creates more problems for you. An average of 6 to 8 hours of sleep is advised. Waking up in the morning from a sound sleep is the best way to start the day.
Having a routine is another way to win the day before it starts. Don’t just live an unplanned life or respond to life haphazardly. For example, you could make it a practice to wake up by 5 AM every morning, drink a glass of water, listen to music and motivational talks from speakers and preachers that strengthens your soul and lifts up your spirit.
If you are a spiritual person, you could pray as well. Practice self-talk daily. Read your affirmations. You could do a couple of pushups or some muscle straining exercise every morning; it releases endorphins and makes you alert.
Finally, drink herbal tea; it makes you feel alert and it is good for metabolism. You could exercise on weekends.

Draw Up A Things-To-Do List
To win your day, always have a timetable or a list of things to do – every day. Live your life around the goals that matter to you. To do this, draw up a list of things to do daily, weekly or monthly.
Ensure to peer into your plan every night before going to bed. Give priority to the most important list. Allot time for each list. For example, after your morning routine, you can choose to reply to emails by 9 AM, schedule an important meeting or return an important call by midday, by evening you could take a 15-minute walk to ease the stress of the day, and at night before going to bed, take a cold shower. Never get things muddled up; never get into many commitments. Your goals come first.
The best way to win your day is by not skipping breakfast. Many people make it a habit to skip breakfast. Research shows that eating breakfast can give you the right energy to boost your day. Examples of good breakfast include a cup of herbal tea and two slices of bread, a cup of coffee and four pieces of wheat biscuits, scrambled egg and fried plantain, creamed coffee and snacks. No heavy food.

Surround Yourself With The Right People
People are key influencers in our lives. The people we surround ourselves with could either make or mar our lives. It is always advisable to avoid toxic relationships. Stay clear of friends who indulge in unhealthy lifestyles like alcoholism, smoking, illicit sex, drugs, and substance abuse and so on.
Do not get too attached to people who make you feel worse, especially friends who would rather douse your spirit through their competitive or rival attitudes. Surround yourself with dreamers and encouragers, people who would always push you to be the best version of yourself.
In conclusion, winning your day starts with adopting a healthy lifestyle and having the right mindset. It is sustained by learning how to let go of what you cannot control and living in the moment and enjoying each day as it comes.
