Nigerian entertainment industry, Nollywood has not been immune to the infiltration of Western fashion like other entertainment industries around the world. Some celebrities prefer to wear clothes with ‘big labels‘ while some still find a healthy balance between wearing Western clothes and those made in Nigeria.
The actresses discussed below are a little percent of Nollywood stars that wore Made in Nigeria outfits last week.

The dress is made up of Silk Aso Oke, full design Aso oke for the capes, Ipele and Gele in different colours of crowntex.
The main body of the dress is a blue Aso oke made as a silhouette, the upper part of the dress has four capes in different colours. The gele and Ipele are of the same colour and they match the dress perfectly.
Explaining the outfit, she wrote on the post ‘Representing Lagos in our culture is very important to me, we command class, fashion, style, colour, glamour and fun but above all, we represent our culture with so much finesse and style’. Her dress was designed by Galami Couture.
