Power of One and the seventh annual Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless concert.
Power of One
Power of One, directed by Izu Ojukwu, is a creative masterpiece aimed at arousing political consciousness among Nigerians, and emphasizes the importance of individual effort in engendering remarkable change in the society. The trailer for the movie which stars Alexx Ekubo, Ramsey Nouah, Jide Kosoko,
Annie Idibia and more, is expected to be unveiled at the concert this weekend.
According to Buckwyld Media Network’s chief executive officer Efe Omorogbe, the movie’s major objective is to awaken a sense of
civic responsibility in every Nigerian. He hopes that the film will stem the ominous perception that one person’s actions make no difference with regards to the progress or well-being of the country.
2Baba who spoke about the choice of the theme, “Power Of One”, for this year’s Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless concert, said that it was born out of the need to create the best possible impact that would outlast generations. He added that he hopes to one day be able to brag about Nigerian states and cities in exotic places like Miami, Florida.
The ‘Buckwyld n Breathless’ – “Power Of One” concert is scheduled for Saturday, 20th October 2018, at Eko Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos. It will be headlined by some of Nigeria’s leading music stars including 2baba, and promises to be fun and exciting. The premiere date for the movie of the same name will be announced later by the Buckwyld Media Network. Fans will, however, catch a glimpse of the trailer at the concert.
