Alheri Bingi holds a degree in History and International Studies from the University of Ilorin, and an A2 French degree from Alliance Francaise. She also has a certification in Business Management and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). Alheri writes and blogs, and prior to her current role she was a media sales representative at tolet.com.ng, a fashion stylist at Spice TV, and a personal assistant at RM Looks. CN: What are your primary responsibilities at work? Selling advert spaces, maintaining relationships, and getting our magazine out there.  CN: What qualities would you say are absolutely essential for a successful sales career?

CN: What do you like most about working as a media sales representative? Meeting new people, building new connections, and improving my communication skills.  CN: What do you like least about it? The rude reception one sometimes gets from clients, clients who don’t show up or arrive late, and promise breakers.  CN: What advice do you wish someone had given you as an undergraduate? Be prepared.  CN: If there were any other career that you would choose, what would it be? Application creation.  CN: Who are your role models? I admire Mark Zuckerberg and Lee Shau Kee.  CN: Which books have really made a difference in the way you think and live? 48 Laws of Power
