The Anzisha Prize, a fellowship program for Africa’s youngest entrepreneurs, is open for entry. For ten years, it has enabled participants from across Africa to identify and leverage opportunities to build their enterprises. The upcoming fellowship cohort will be no different. The fellowship will last for three years. Within this period, persons selected to be Anzisha Fellows will be observed and supported by the program’s organizers. They will receive stipends, short courses, and cloud services. They will also get to pitch their business for a chance to win a share of the $140,000 prize on offer. There will be four grand prizes: the Job Creation Prize, Revenue Growth Prize, Storytelling Prize, and Integrated Systems and Processing Prize.

Benefits

Fellows of the Anzisha Prize stand to benefit from the program in the following ways:
  • Job Creation Prize, given to the fellow who has created the most jobs since joining the fellowship.
  • Revenue Growth prize, awarded to the fellow who has recorded the most revenue since joining the fellowship.
  • Storytelling Prize, given to the fellow who has most clearly communicated their enterprise story across written, oral, and visual storytelling media.
  • Integration Systems and Processes Prize awarded to the fellow that has most effectively deployed systems and processes to drive their business model.
  • Receive bi-annual stipends on years one and three of the fellowship.
  • Access to internships, courses, and consultations with technical experts (in years two and three of the fellowship)
