A hand full of celebrities including Frank Osodi, AY, Opa Williams, Ebube and Uti Nwachuku shined on Bode Thomas, Surulere as the new location for the Hottest New Designer, Yomi Casual, who unveiled a celebrity-styled showroom.
Wearing a broad, fulfilling smile and speaking to press men shortly before guests arrived, Yomi Casual said:
“Opening a Showroom on a street as accessible as Bode Thomas was informed by the increasing flow of VIP and Celebrity client who want to wear some of our fly designs, which makes you fabulous at every age. Also for those who want to see for themselves a displayed collection of Vintage Designs they can choose from.”
Yomi Casual also stated that the showroom is a humble creative contribution to the fashion industry both in Nigeria and the continent of Africa. The brand employs young and potential fashion designers who go through the basics of fashion in hopes of becoming big fashion designers in the future.
Celebrities and other potential clients who stopped by the launch of the showroom made valuable purchases from the Deluxe 2012 Collection and even the vintage collections available.
Leading the purchasing Celebrities was AY the comedian who is also Yomi Casual’s brother. He was ecstatic about the success of his brother and showed support.
“Yomi Casual has officially joined the Premier League of Africa’s Fashion Designers. And this is just one of the first steps he is taking at redefining, and re-tailoring Africa’s Fashion outlook.” Said AY the Comedian about his brother’s brand.
Other celebrities that showed their support of the brand, Yomi Casual were Tinsel’s Gideon Okeke who said Yomi Casual’s 2012 Collections are ‘Inspiring’; Uti Nwachukwu, Gbero Ajibade, Elenu and Nollywood’s Ebube who said the Collection is ‘Chic.’
