The Sarah Adebisi Sosan Foundation (SASF)

The Sarah Adebisi Sosan Foundation (SASF) in its quest to empower people in the rural area, particularly women, has given financial support to indigent citizens in Ojo local government area and neighbouring communities in Lagos State. The empowerment scheme is aimed at assisting the women to become self-reliant. Speaking at the event, the former Lagos deputy governor and founder of SASF, Princess Sarah Sosan, said the initiative is one of the ways the foundation is showing its commitment to improving the status of women and youths in the community. She said:
“Apart from our medical outreach and various empowerment schemes that include the production of liquid soap, body cream, shoes, bags and insecticide, we are further strengthening their capacity with a cash gift. If you empower a woman, you have empowered a nation. The little fund given to them should be added to their existing business to boost it. It is just a means of encouragement.”
