Here are 5 fascinating facts about this phenomenal entrepreneur:
1. Nike was inspired to start off Ruff n Tumble after her kids ran out of pyjamas which she chose to replace with homemade wears.
2. She and her mother were the clothing store’s first main staff.
3. She kicked herself out of school in her second year of Law at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She did this so she could find herself and her passions in life.
4. She discovered her passion for making clothes while working with her mother’s Afrocentric business in Ibadan called Betty O.
5. Today, she is a multiple award-winning business woman, both in Nigeria and abroad.
6. She was featured in the BBC World Documentary of the Year winning entrepreneurial documentary, Africa Open for Business.
7. She is currently a mentor at the Fate Foundation and the Junior Achievement of Nigeria organisation.
