On 7 November 2018, Oluwatobi Boshoro became the Chief Executive Officer of Renmoney. This was remarkable as she joined the list of few women spearheading innovative changes in the banking and finance sector. Renmoney is the first Micro Finance Bank (MFB) to launch Cloud technology with minimal fixed asset investment in Nigeria. Her job as CEO involved piloting the affairs of the FinTech lending company towards attaining the status of becoming one of the numero uno in the finance and banking sector, by empowering underbanked individuals.

Described as an innovative and transformational leader with proven abilities to develop strategies to deliver customer-focused solutions and drive bottom line growth in highly competitive markets, Oluwatobi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and The Market Research Society (MRS), both in the United Kingdom.
Prior to her appointment, she has served as the Head, Digital Strategy, Issuing and Service Management at Stanbic IBTC, as well as headed it’s Electronic Banking and Digital Strategy units at various times, where she was responsible for the digital transformation of the bank.

She has held other positions too. Between 2008 and 2014, Tobi held senior positions at the Interswitch Group, including Group Head, Issuer Management. From June 2004 to May 2006, she was the Key Account Officer (Wholesale) of British American Tobacco; and as Tax Analyst at Exxon Mobil from January 2000 to January 2002.
Education:
A BSc in Economic from Ogun State University was the beginning of the many certificates she bagged. With an M.Sc. in Strategic Marketing degree from Cranfield University’s School of Management, she became an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School, having completed multiple Executive Management programmes including the General Management Programme in 2013.
Awards:
In 2018, at the FinTech Innovation Awards, she was honored with the Women of the Year FinTech Awards.
