Nigerian sprinter Oluwatobi Amusan ran a Season’s Best of 12.58s (-0.7) in the Women’s 100m Hurdle in the Diamond League. Amusan finished second behind Puerto Rican Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn who raced to victory in 12.45s, while Tonea Marshall of the United States finished third in 12.66s.
At the Campo Di Atletica meet in Italy, Emmanuel Ojeli cracked sub 10.40s in the 100m to win the race with a new Personal Best of 10.37s (+0.4). The Nigerian was equally impressive in a competitive 200m race, finishing 4th with a new Season’s Best of 21.12s (-1.3).
