At the War Eagle Invitational, Esther Isa was remarkable in the women’s High Jump event, soaring over 1.85m to win the event. Amarachukwu Obi was equally outstanding at the War Eagle Invitation, hitting a Personal Best (PB) of 23.02s to finish second in the women’s 200m event. Her time is the fastest by a Nigerian so far this season as she also went on to finish 2nd overall in the 400m (54.38s). Favour Ofili has continued to impress as she narrowly missed on a Personal Best at the Boots Garland Invitational. Her 22.30s time earned her the prize for the women’s 200m event.
