According to AllAfrica.com, Walmart, a leading global brand in retail sector, is set to establish its presence in Lagos State, Nigeria. This was disclosed by the Chief Executive Officer of Walmart Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada, Mrs. Shelley Broader yesterday, 31 July, 2015. Broader who led a delegation to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the Lagos State house, said the Walmart brand, which is currently in 28 countries with over 2.2 million employees, would be beneficial to the growth of Lagos State and support the governor’s vision to make life comfortable for residents. Governor Akinwunmi Ambode said the presence of the brand in Lagos would go a long way not only in creating jobs but also boosting the economy of the state.

  • Walmart finally came to Lagos. Now shopping becomes much more easy. Now all employees of Walmart can make use of WalmartOne Associate portal to get all the information related work and payslips.
