Living In Bondage is considered to be the first commercially successful Nollywood movie. It was a revolutionary film that ushered in a new wave of Nollywood blockbusters that have gone on to grab the attention of the world.
Now, 20 years after, a sequel to the Nollywood classic has been released and it is just as phenomenal as the original. The sequel, titled Living In Bondage: Breaking Free has been breaking records since it was released on 7 November 2019.

The movie, which is Ramsey Nuoah’s directional debut, follows the story of Nnamdi Okeke, the son of Andy Okeke, who follows in his father’s footsteps to obtain riches. The cast of the movie includes veterans like Kenneth Okonkwo, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Bob Manuel Udokwu, Ramsey Nuoah, Kalu Ikeagwu and new faces — Swanky JKA, Enyinna Nwigwe, Munachi Abii, and Nancy Isime.
