The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have been crowned champions of the World after beating Mexico 3-0 in the final of the U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
An own goal from Mexico’s Aguirre in the first half was enough to send Eaglets into the break with a goal advantage.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Musa Mohammed added more goals in the second half.
Kelechi Iheanacho was quickest to react to a howler from the Mexican goalie to double Eaglets’ lead before captain Musa Mohammed curled a free kick in the 81st to seal the win.
