English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur has completed the signing of Nigerian whizkid, Victor Osimhen, according to reports. Osimhen, 16, was the star man for Nigeria’s under-17 team at the just concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup. He scored a record ten times, including one in the final against Mali, to help Nigeria win her fifth U-17 World Cup title. News reports revealed Mauricio Pochettino swooped in to persuade Osimhen to join the North London side. Meanwhile, Osimhen’s team mate and captain of the victorious U-17 team, Kelechi Nwakali – who was voted player of the tournament – is also touted to join his elder brother Chidi in the Premier League with Manchester City. Congratulations to both of them.
