connectnigeria_Uzo Aduba Nigerian-American actress, Uzo Aduba, has won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on “Orange Is the New Black.” Aduba, who studied Classical Voice in Boston University, had just made the decision to quit acting when she got a phone call informing her that she’d got a part in the show that eventually won her the Emmy Award. While accepting the award, Aduba, who is 1 of 5 children, expressed heartfelt thanks to her mum for all the sacrifices that she made in order for her children to have the life they have now.
