The UEFA Champions League body has released the draw results for the 16 teams that qualified into the Rounds of 16 stage.
The results of the draw were beyond expectations, and it’s sent chills down the spine of almost every club involved, especially the English club Chelsea, who were pitched to face La Liga’s top gun.
Chelsea will face five-time European champions Barcelona in a match that will not be forgotten so easily.
Fans all across Nigeria will definitely come out for this one, it’ll be more than entertaining to watch the players of both teams go head to head for the sixth time. Hopefully, we’ll have our own Victor Moses in action for Chelsea during this match-up.
English teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all also progressed from the group stage, making England the first country to have so many sides through to the knockout phase.
The first legs will be played on February 13/14 and 20/21, with the second legs on March 6/7 and 13/14.
Juventus v Tottenham
In this mix, favourites are definitely last season’s finalist Juventus
Sevilla v Manchester United
Well, Manchester will definitely stun us, but I’m hoping Sevilla will pull a magic trick and shock fans everywhere
Porto v Liverpool
Okay, Liverpool are definitely favourites, but Porto can’t be taken lightly.
Barcel v Man City
Manchester City shouldn’t break a sweat with Barcel, as they’ve proved themselves top through the qualifying stages.
Real Madrid v PSG
I kinda laughed when I saw this mix, PSG? Real Madrid definitely have a lot to deal with, in fact, they would have to run to the future and get tactics if they really want to brush oast PSG.
Shakhtar Donetsk v Roma
Bayern Munich v Beşiktaş
Definitely Bayern for this one
