Tunde Kelani Raises Awareness on Sickle Cell Anemia with ‘Dazzling Mirage’

Cinematographer, Tunde Kelani, has raised an awareness campaign of sickle cell anemia affecting several families because of certain decisions made by couples with his new movie, ‘Dazzling Mirage’. According to the celebrated movie producer, ‘Dazzling Mirage’ is a socially relevant film produced to draw more attention to sickle cell disorder in Nigeria. Written by Olayinka Egbokhare, the movie which is billed for premiere in April features an all-star cast such as Bimbo Manuel, Kunle Afolayan, Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, Bukola Awoyemi,Khabirat Kafidipe, Taiwo Ajai Lycett, and Yomi Fash Lanso among others. ‘‘’Dazzling Mirage’ is a movie and a movement. It aims to help raise awareness about the sickle cell condition and to help people make better and informed decisions. The movie is a love story marked by acts of betrayal and loyalty as seen in the life of a sickle cell sufferer,’’ Kelani said. Watch the trailer below.
