Innocent “Tuface” Idibia has spoken up about the killings in his state of origin, Benue State. Reacting to a Channels TV report about the fresh spate of attacks in the state, which left several people dead and many wounded, Tuface tweeted:
“This is getting ridiculous. Shameful.”
It is not the first time the artiste is expressing his concerns about the violence brought upon his tribesmen by suspected herdsmen. Back in January, he was received by the Benue State governor and members of his cabinet when he visited the government house in Makurdi to condole with the state over recent killings. He also took advantage of the Sound City MVP Awards to draw attention to the issue. It might be recalled that the Hypertek boss and African Queen singer was set to lead a protest march on February 6th 2017, but called it off at the last minute because of alleged plans by hoodlums to hijack the march.   Feature image photo credit: www.premiumtimesng.com
