Twitter Appoints Ngozi Iweala To Board Of Directors
Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, has achieved a record-breaking success by becoming the first Nigerian to be appointed to Twitter’s Board of Directors. She was appointed alongside Robert Zoellick, the 11th President of the World Bank. The Chief Executive Director of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, tweeted:Acknowledging her new role, Okonjo Iweala tweeted:We’re adding Ngozi (@NOIweala) and Bob (@authorzoellick) to the Twitter board. Welcome! Adeosun elected Chairperson of AFREXIM BANK The Nigerian Finance minister, Kemi Adeosun, was elected as Chairperson of the African Import-Export Bank in Abuja. This appointment is coming amidst a “certificate forgery” accusation leveled against her.
