I know, I know. There’s no way you can read 5 books in a weekend, especially if you have chores and responsibilities lined up waiting to consume your weekend. Reading is a good way to spend your time; you are using your time productively, learning, as well as enjoying yourself all at the same time. You most certainly may not be able to finish even one book in a weekend, but the idea is to at least pick one from the list and start reading. You can stop whenever you feel like it, and resume at any time. For people who aren’t already book addicts, it will give you something different to do for the free time you have during the weekend. So, plan to dig into any of these books for your weekend read.   1. “Everything Good Will Come” by Sefi Atta. Buchi Emecheta sums this book up perfectly: “Everything Good Will Come is like listening to an old friend recounting and bringing up to date and to life the happenings in our beloved city of Lagos…” everythin-good-cover2 2. “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
