Google Duo
Duo is Google’s new video calling app. The app has a clean interface and the app is solely for making video calls and nothing more. It has a cool feature called knock knock which allows you see a real-time video of the person that’s calling you before you take the call. Also, conversations on Google duo are end-to-end encrypted.
The app is available for both iOS and Android and is available free on their respective app stores.
Contacts Phone Dialer: Drupe
Drupe is a fast and intuitive dialer app for Android smartphones. The app has four bubbles that float on the screen so you don’t have to go to your home screen before you make a call. Making a call is very easy and can be done by just one swipe action. It also has a recent tab that keeps track of your activities across your messaging apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Skype. Missed call notifications come in as a floating bubble. The app also has an inbuilt call recorder.

Prisma
Prisma is one of the best photo editing apps that turns your pictures into artworks. It’s a nice app to use if you are tired of the normal everyday filters on other apps. There are a variety of filters, all based on famous paintings – Edvard Munch’s The Scream is a filter, and there’s a filter called Mondrian, for Piet Mondrian. Other filters are based on Van Gogh, Picasso, and Levitan. Once you apply the filter, you can swipe across it – swipe to the left to reduce the intensity of the filter, and to the right to increase it to 100 percent before you are given the option of sharing to social networks.

Tubemate
Tubemate is a very simple app that does one thing most of us would kill for – download YouTube videos for offline viewing. The app has supports for other platforms like Facebook, Daily Motion and Vimeo. The app has different video resolutions you can choose from before you download; it also has an option for downloading just in audio format. The app has a page that displays your downloaded videos or audio. If you wish to watch your videos on the app, it also has its own native video/audio player.

Microsoft Word
Microsoft Word is Microsoft’s text editing program which now has an app for mobile platforms. It is optimized for working on-the-go and has the same familiar design with the desktop version. Word offers unequalled file compatibility and layout fidelity and your documents will look exactly how you intended on your Android phone and tablet. The app also saves changes to your document automatically and can convert documents to pdf and share to other platforms like WhatsApp and Email. The app is available for free on Android and iOS.
