  • Nigerians react to MMM founder’s death:
Nigerians have no chill and they proved it once again when news of Sergei Mavrodi (MMM founder) broke the internet. Many Nigerians retorted with hilarious tweets as not many people have gotten over the “MMM saga” that took place like last year (when a lot of Nigerians lost their money to the ponzi scheme). A lot of people are claiming to know what led to the ponzi schemer’s death in these tweets below:
  • The Naomi Campbell Controversy
British supermodel Naomi Campbell arrived Lagos on Friday for the Arise Fashion Week 2018 and she met with President Muhammadu Buhari during his tour of the Eko Atlantic city. The model then posted a tweet and a picture implying that she was invited to the tour by the Nigerian Government but she deleted the post shortly after and replaced it with a new tweet “Was a pleasure to meet His Excellency The President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari to the launch of Eko Atlantic. HERE FOR ARISE FASHION WEEK”. The presidency also denied the claim that Naomi Campbell was invited by President Buhari for the tour of the Eko Atlantic City and instead claimed that she requested for a picture when she met with the president.
