We embarked on a search to figure out what sort of information Nigerians are searching for and where Nigerians are going to search for them and according to Alexa.com, here are the top 10 websites Nigerians visited last month. 1. Jumia.com.ng: Jumia is Nigeria’s No 1 and most trusted online shopping destination which is home to a wide selection of products of fashion, home appliances, kid items, electronics e.t.c all at great prices. 2. Konga.com: Konga.com falls in second place. Known as Nigeria’s largest online mall, Konga gives great customer experience, and nationwide delivery at great prices. 3. Dealdey.com: Dealdey.com comes in third place. They offer up to 90% discount on products and services. 4. Lindaikeji.blogspot.com: Lindaikeji.blogspot.com provides Nigerians with news, events, entertainment, fashion, beauty and gossip – the number one reason why Nigerians keep flooding the website. 5. Nairaland.com: Like Lindaikeji.blogspot.com, Nairaland has been able to maintain its place as one of the top Nigerian websites Nigerians visit. Nairaland provides a discussion forum for Nigerians to discuss about thousands of topics that are important to them. 6. GTBank.com: GTBank was ranked third place as one of the top customer friendly banks in Nigeria by KPMG in 2014. This may be one of the reasons why its website is still visited so much and was able to still clinch the 6th place in the July. 7. Naij.com: Naij.com takes the seventh place as the Nigerian portal that provides news coverage, information on music, weather, jokes, jobs, games e.t.c. 8. Punchng.com: Punchng.com provides news and is known as the most widely read Nigerian newspaper. 9. Vanguardngr.com: Vanguardngr.com came in the 9th place confirming Nigerians love for information. The website is an online version of the Vanguard Nigerian daily newspaper. 10. Pulseng.com: Pulseng.com takes the 10th place as Nigeria’s online news platform, gist, music, movies, lifestyle, events, sports e.t.c. Now, we know what Nigerians searched for and where they did last month. I would like to see more Nigerians searching on ConnectNigeria.com, talkingbookz.com, BudgIT among many others next month when we review this list again.
