As a certified foodie, it is easy to observe trendy eating styles in Lagos and one of such is having brunch. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like to eat, I just love giving informed recommendations and opinions about food. Normally, brunch is the meal eaten between breakfast and lunch. However, because of the stressful atmosphere in Lagos, after a heavy encounter with traffic or during weekends, brunch turns into a late breakfast or an early lunch meal. A lot of us are comfortable with having a cup of coffee, eggs and kidney, sandwiched in bread, as brunch. While we can enjoy the meal leisurely in the house, on the bed with our pyjamas and avoid waiting in line, sometimes we need to splurge on ourselves with breathtaking brunch menus. Brunch Recipes are served in most restaurants situated in Lagos. Here are 10 Brunch spots in Lagos:
1. Nok by Alara:
Nok by Alara is a contemporary African Restaurant that offers indigenous Africa brunch recipes with an inventive twist. The place is yonder past amazing. The Brunch menu is wide as it considers everyone’s taste bud. It brings exquisiteness to popular African foods. In case you are wondering where to find it, it is located at Victoria Island in Lagos.
2. The Crockpot, Sheraton Lagos:
This is found in Sheraton Lagos. There is a wide spread of brunch at the restaurant. You are presented with a world of culinary arts you probably never dreamed of. There is an excellent brunch cuisine and a lot of loyalists visit the restaurants. It is at Mobolaji Bank, Anthony Way, Ikeja.
3. Orchid Bistro:
This is found in Ikeja. Great things tend to come in small packages, for this I agree because it is situated in a small locale but have an amazing tasty brunch dishes. The food served are all fresh and not in any bit microwaved (so they claim).
4. Southern Sun Hotel:
If you want to meet and famz, then this is the right place to do so. Over the years, Southern Sun, Ikoyi has become a popular brunch tradition. Trust me you are most likely to run into friends and celebrities. Their brunch menu is quite extensive and a salve to the distasteful brunches you had had beforehand.  If you are new to brunch tradition, or you have been adapted a long time ago, here is the place for you.
5. RSVP:
Oh, this is not a Rice and Stew Very Plenty or a Call for confirmation of responses. Rather it is an incredible place to get your brunch meal. They are known for their exceptional service and also for holding up your reservation till your arrival. However, please be advised to make your reservation earlier. It is located on Victoria Island.
6. Goodies Restaurant and Coffee shop:
If you do not want a wide variety to choose from, or you are within the vicinity, hop into Goodies Restaurant at Ikeja. You will be sure to have delicacies that will engulf your taste buds. Amazing Pastries to fill your brunch appetite.
7. La Brioche:
Welcome to the world of pastries!! A pretty little space with an amazing pastries experience that would leave you wanting for more. The café gives a kind of Parisian feel once you are in it. Be sure to find their Brunch menu quite delightful.
8. Samantha Bistro & grill:
Not to blow their trumpets, but they are GOOD. They offer modern choices of well-prepared food. With the indoor bistro and outdoor grill you are bound to relive paradise with delectable brunch choices. It is a good dining experience in Ikoyi.
9. Craft Gourmet:
A very impressive restaurant with great ambience for eating. The use of colour is minimal with mostly monochrome colours; black, grey and white. It is situated at Mega Palace, Victoria Island. It gives you an airy atmosphere that has you sticking around till you have stuffed yourself with the brunch selection.
10. Crust and Cream:
Imagine looking at a menu like “Kilode, what do I want to eat, ke?” The menu lists move from traditional Nigerian delicacies to full English brunch back to Asian and to American. Yes, a wide variety of brunch meals you can choose from. Remember to say thank you later.
