TomTom – the navigation systems provider – has announced the launch of its MySport app for iPhone and iPad, which allows users to monitor physical performance resulting from exercise.
The company says the MySports mobile app automatically connects with a TomTom runner and multi-sport GPS watch to upload key performance information including distance, time, and calories using Bluetooth Smart technology.
A user’s activity and training history are automatically uploaded to community platforms including MySports, Runkeeper and MapMyFitness, making it easier to achieve personal goals.
“The TomTom MySports mobile app is free to download, and uses Bluetooth Smart technology to connect wirelessly to both TomTom Runner and TomTom Multi-Sport GPS Sport Watches,” the company said.
