Mr. Bez Idakula has come a long way since his “Zuciya Daya” days. The Nigerian singer/songwriter hit it big after his first album’s 2011 debut – remember the Super Sun album? – and has steadily risen to superstar status with a large fan base in tow. He’s also gone on tours around the world, performing in cities like New York and Addis Ababa. In 2012, he received the grand honour of being the first African to world premiere his music video, The Stupid Song, on American Black Entertainment Television (BET).
We stumbled on a clip of Bez in our YouTube archives, from as far back as 2010. In it, the songster performs an acoustic version of his hit single, Zuciya Daya for our readers, still sounding as soulful as ever.
