It’s Thursday again people and as always, time to reminiscence about the good old days. Today, we would throwback with some of the favourite literature books we enjoyed as teenagers. A time when knowledge was driven from the pages of books and not from the glowing screens of overpriced technology.  When sound education was obtainable in Nigerian schools, unlike what we have now – there I said it. We all can attest to the fact that these literature books made for interesting reads, as well as being educative.  Even now, when we have a deep craving to be intellectually stimulated,  we still hunt for some of them to re-read. If you were born in the 80’s or 90’s and went to secondary school in Nigeria, I’m sure you can relate to this. With the way things are going now, it won’t come as a surprise if, in the future, the throwback books for this generation X won’t be some badly written entertainment blog. In no particular order here’s a list of literature books we read back then. In case we missed any, please share yours in the comment box. Joys of Motherhood by Buchi Emecheta
