The Songhai/Mastercard Youth Agricultural Empowerment Scheme is designed to train and seed more than 3,000 young Nigerians in agriculture, particularly 70% young women, in the space of the next three years as “modern farm managers/technicians and agro-entrepreneurs.”

Applications for the Songhai/Mastercard Youth Agricultural Empowerment Scheme are currently invited for the 3-month boot camp in “sustainable farming methods and hands-on experience in agriculture for modern farm managers/technicians and agro-entrepreneurs.”
To be considered eligible for the program:
- The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- The applicant must have set up an agricultural business or be passionate about setting up one.
- The applicant must be willing to travel to Oyo, Ebonyi, or Owerri.
- You should have a support structure to enable implementation.
