  The Qualcomm® Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program is an equity-free mentorship program designed to “identify promising early-stage startups keen on applying advanced connectivity and processing technologies to innovative end-to-end systems solutions, including hardware, and provide these companies with business coaching, access to engineering consultation for product development, and guidance on protecting intellectual property.”

  • Participants will gain regular 1:1 mentorship opportunities with Qualcomm leaders.
  • The Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program guides startups towards turning their ideas into product realization.

  • It is an opportunity to gain visibility with the demo day.

  • Application Phase: December 5, 2024, to February 16, 2025
  • A shortlist of the startups: March 2025
  • Mentorship program: April 2025 to November 2025
