Female founders who have great passion for their businesses, demonstrate strong market potential and have a clear growth ambition are strongly encouraged to apply. The Female Founders in Africa Competition is a competition designed to empower women entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary resources, networking opportunities, and support to scale their businesses.

To be eligible for the program
- The applying business must be female-owned.
- The business must be registered in the country/region where the country/region final is being held.
- The business must have been actively operating for at least one year.
- The business must be either tech-enabled, tech-driven, or tech-led.
- The business must not be majority-owned by a large corporation.
- The applicant must be able to conduct all pitches in English.
- The applicant must be available to pitch at a country or regional event for the semi-final and final as stipulated in the timeline by the country of origin.
- If the applicant is selected as a finalist, he/she must be available to pitch at the finals in 2025.
