There are two ways to locate your misplaced iPhone;
1.Sign into iCloud.com on a computer and select ‘Find My Phone’
2.Launch Apple’s Find My iPhone app on another iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) or on a Mac.If it isn’t locked with a PIN, you can do this remotely.
In order to do this, the iPhone owner must Set up an iCloud account upon purchasing the iPhone and activate ‘Find my iPhone’. You can also send a message and it will appear on the screen like contact information or a small reward offer for the person your phone is with.
Additionally for those who leave their phones on mute, it is possible to have it ring out loud even if the device is on mute. This is also helpful in an instance where you don’t know where you left the phone.
Apple is also rumoured to be coming up with larger versions of the iPhone with increased screen sizes of 4.7-5.5 inches to compete with the new Samsung large screen, dual SIM android phone ranges in the market.
