Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) is unarguably the biggest movie award show in Africa.
The annual event celebrates, honours, and recognizes the hard work and talents of actors, actresses, producers, directors, and other film professionals.

This year, AMVCA which is the eighth edition is the best yet. This year’s award ceremony was an eight-day event leading to the awards/gala-nightt. It began on the 7th of May and ended on the 14th of May. This is the first time, AMVCA, organized an eight-day event.
One of the major highlights of AMVCA is the glitz, glamour and gorgeous outfit that graced the red carpet. To appreciate the efforts of the attendees, AMVCA provided a photo booth, where attendees can have their pictures taken. The pictures are then sent to the event websites and viewers vote for their best dressed.
This year’s edition is quite distinct from the previous editions because, the looks that graced the red carpet were mind-blowing. The attendees brought in their A-fashion game.
The red carpet hosts, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Uti Nwanchukwu, Sika Osei and Toke Makinwa looked awesome. The award hosts, IK Osakioduwa and the delectable South Africa media personality, Bonang Matheba slayed in all their outfits. All the attendees, Odunlade Adekola, Mawuli Gavor, Stan Nze, Samuel Perry, and others wore their best.

Osas Ighodaro
Osas dazzled in a silver and gold lace corset with a massive train in a see through dress. Her ponytail and drop earrings accentuated her overall look.
Her outfit was made by Vicky James. When netizens saw Osas’ dress on the red carpet, they were dazzled.
Osas was nominated alongside Bimbo Ademoye and Bisola Aiyeola for the best dressed female and she won.
2. Denola Grey
Denola is a fashion icon. His daring looks have not gone unnoticed by fashion lovers over the years. Denola’s style is bold, classy and unique.
Denola thrilled the attendees and viewers with his three-piece beaded suit from Atafo Official.
He was nominated alongside Deyemi Okanlawon and Mawuli Gavor. He won the category.

On Atafo Official Instagram page, atafo.official, Denola’s outfit was described as “beaded, cropped, velvet, silk, satin, burgundy, black and cuban heels”.

Bisola Aiyeola
Bisola wore a gorgeous yellow dress. The upper part of the outfit and the train were made with a soft tulle fabric while the rest of the dress had a yellow lace fabric.
Speaking of looks, Bisola looked amazing in her premium custom dress made by somobysomo.
She was nominated as one of the best dressed female at AMVCA’8.

Deyemi Okanlawon
Deyemi came prepared to the red carpet. He donned in a cupion lace suit. His suit looked really good on him.

Bimbo Ademoye
Bimbo’s dress was in red. Her red outfit was beaded to perfection. The top had draping and one of the sleeve was an off shoulder.
Her hair and makeup was well put together. Her dress showed her beautiful curvy figure and her small waist.
She was nominated as one of the best dressed female at AMVCA’8.
- Mawuli Gavor
Mawuli is a Ghanaian actor but he has featured in various Nollywood films. Some might even say he is a Nigerian.
Mawuli wore a suit by David Wej. He was nominated as one of the best dressed male at AMVCA’8.
All the outfits worn by the best dressed, both male and female were made and styled by Nigerians.
