The Lagos Edition of the Creative Industry Business Summit organised by the AMFEST EXPO Project & themed ‘African Women in Arts & Culture Conference just ended in Lagos over the weekend. These bespoke creative industry meeting was held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island – Lagos. The 3day Conferences catered to Professionals in the Music, Film, Fashion, Food, Creative Arts industries.
Just like the Ghana edition of the Conference, it brought together Women Experts & Business Leaders in different disciplines in the creative industry together to discuss about the growth of the creative sector & the value chain of her businesses. In those discussions was also about how creative industry practitioners can leverage the size of the African market for better economic returns. Talks were held around the need to always deliver quality products & services, networking beyond Nigeria for artistic & cultural exchanges, then the need to be more agressive in gaining showcase opportunities beyond geographical boundaries.
The Food AMFEST Culinary Conference included Mr Shile Jadesimi ( An International Chef, Investor & Hospitality Expert) Topic: Spreading the African Cuisine Culture.
