Over the past few months and years, TechCabal has been organizing several town hall meeting to bring different stakeholders in different sectors of the tech industry in Nigeria to discuss on the past, the present and the future. In September, the town hall meeting that was held led the discussion on mobility and logistics in Africa. It was on the premise of the fast replacement logistics companies had in the tech industry over fintech which previously led the industry.

Different speakers from Co-founder of Kobo360, COO Lori Systems, VP Product FieldInsight, Director of Operations ORide, Co-Founder of Metro Africa Xpress (MAX). Co-Founder Gozem, Principal, DiGAME, VP Investments, EchoVC Partners, Senior Partner, TLcom Capital, General Manager, Lagos State Waterways, Policy and Government Relations Lead West & Francophone Africa, Google, Bus Service Engineer, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) and Uber West Africa’s General Manager spoke on regulatory and infrastructural challenges and an investor session on everything mobility and logistics with all modes of transportation.
This month, November, the focus is on EdTech and the Future of Work. Different stakeholders in the sector have been selected to discuss on how technology can better help us as people to prepare for the knowledge and skill demands of the future.
